From scripting to editing and posting, I handed over the reins to artificial intelligence. The results? Surprisingly impressive—and a little unsettling.

Step 1: Scripting with ChatGPT

I started by giving ChatGPT a simple prompt: “Write a 30-second TikTok script about how AI can help students study faster.” Within seconds, it produced a catchy, engaging script with a clear hook, benefit, and call to action. It even included a relatable scenario for students. Normally, I’d spend 30–40 minutes brainstorming and tweaking ideas. This took less than five.

Step 2: Voice and Video Generation

Instead of recording myself, I used an AI voice from ElevenLabs to read the script, and then plugged it into Runway to generate relevant B-roll. I added AI-generated subtitles using CapCut's auto-caption tool. The visual transitions weren’t perfect, but the speed and coherence were impressive. In under an hour, I had a polished-looking video that would’ve taken me twice as long to create manually.

Step 3: Posting with AI Tools

To top it off, I used an AI-powered scheduler that suggested the best time to post based on my audience's activity. It even generated relevant hashtags and a caption. I hit “Post” and let it ride.

The Results: Engagement and Insights

The video didn’t go viral, but it performed above average—20% more views and double the engagement rate compared to my usual posts. What shocked me more was how little time I spent: under 90 minutes from idea to post. Normally, I’d block out an entire afternoon.

Is AI the Future of Content Creation?

This experiment showed me that AI isn’t here to replace creators—but it can make the process faster and more efficient.
