I’ll copy a paragraph from an article or textbook and ask AI, “What’s the key idea here?” or “Challenge this argument.” It helps me engage with material instead of just skimming. I’ve even had it quiz me to reinforce what I’ve just learned.

It’s easy to get stuck in a “just-the-facts” mindset, but AI can do more than summarize. I ask it things like, “What’s the controversy in this field?” or “What are people overlooking here?” It helps me explore the edges, not just the center, of a topic. That keeps learning exciting and helps me form original thoughts—not just repeat what others say.
